CAN Management are excited to announce the signing of model and TV star Amy Willerton.
At the age of 17, Amy was crowned Miss Bristol and used the platform to compete in pageantry all over the world while continuing her studies at college where she gained 5 A*, A level results.
In 2011, Amy was preparing to start university in Cardiff studying Media. However, her plans changed when she was spotted whilst presenting alongside Russell Brand in his ‘Booky Wook II’ tour. Amy was encouraged to compete against tens of thousands of contestants for Sky Living’s new modelling reality TV show ‘Signed by Katie Price’. Teenage Amy went on to win the competition and was launched into the British national press.
In a shocking twist however, Amy decided to turn down the winning contract with Price, as she wanted to take her career in a different direction.
Shortly upon moving to London she won the prestigious title of Miss London and in 2013 Amy went on to win the chance to represent Great Britain in Donald Trump’s Miss Universe pageant. History was broken in Moscow, Russia as Amy became the first British girl in over 3 decades to place in the top 10.
Less than 24 hours after landing into London following the Miss Universe final, Amy boarded a plane to Brisbane and spent the next 24 days living in the Australian jungle as part of ITV1’s ‘I’m a celebrity – Get me out of here!’ The show received its highest ever ratings of 13 million and won the Best Entertainment Show at the National Television Awards.
Amy currently lives between Central London and Los Angeles. Having just completed the London Marathon, Amy trains regularly and always looking for her next fitness challenge. She continues to model having signed with Europe’s leading agency – Models 1, and has begun filming exciting projects stateside to be revealed later this year. Amy will also be launching her e-commerce site in Spring 2014.
